Festivals are a young man’s game. I turn 40 in a week and I just want to see one band I really like play the songs I want to hear, preferably close to my house.

i never really liked them even when young but yeah my last one turned out to be the same year i turned 30, my legs aching after pretty much a full day of standing on tarmac was a real "what am i doing here?" moment

I went to Pitchfork a few times in the mid 2000’s and had a great time but the concept of anything bigger seems crazy to me. And P-Fork had shade and places to sit and you were on grass, not concrete.
