Bitcoin SV Development. Client side wallet and supporting distributed services.

Joined September 2018
Too many Bitcoin services are “free”. Meaning that they don't charge up front, but have some monetization plan on the backend. This means they might not last long if the monetization doesn't work out. The advantage of Bitcoin is that services can use it to charge directly as

A wallet to send and receive Bitcoin SV (BSV, Not BTC). This wallet is supported by open protocol micro-transaction funded services like messages and paymail to prevent lock in and walled gardens. Biometrics are required to secure the keys. Keys are derived from a mnemonic phrase

@MSkieller @CashNext is coming soon. I'm just ironing out some issues. It uses a mnemonic phrase with deterministic key generation so you can recover from a data loss and is built around peer to peer communication with open protocol services to promote competition and prevent dependency on

NextCash wallet is a BitcoinSV wallet. The guts are built using golang, with modules that can be easily reconfigured based on use case. The UI can be built on Android or IOS by building a port package and compiling for them. It can also be plugged into a service implementation.

We believe that voluntary exchange is the beating heart of our global community, and that every trade makes our world a little bit better. Our mission is to use Bitcoin SV and the Tokenized Protocol to make voluntary exchange simpler, faster, and much more affordable.

@jtoomim What kind of times did you see on the 100MB block? See @CashNext's results here (they run a custom full node impl):
It was 7m 58s between the block timestamp and our node accepting the block. Most of which was just our node waiting for notification of the block. We believe this is not acceptable and that the network can't currently handle this size of block effectively on a regular basis.

Mnemonic Code (seed) xpub extractor. Use with caution as it requires your private seed/key.
@CashNext Here it is:

Zero transactions from the block were in our mempool when the block was received. We believe this is because of the method used to create these large blocks.

Here are some stats for the recent 103 MB block (563,638) mined on Bitcoin SV. Times are in MST. This is what our SV node saw. Block time : 7:26:46 Header received : 07:32:31 Block received : 07:33:45 (66s download) Validated : 07:34:44 (58s)

For example, you could monitor your hardware wallet balance from your mobile wallet without exposing any private keys to your mobile device. But you would have to temporarily expose the seed to your desktop. Which compromises some of the security of the hardware device.
