Does anyone remember Andrew Sharp? He worked at Whitehead's in Royal George Mill in Greenfield in the early 1970s, and at Initial Services on Ardwick Green in the 1980s. Get in touch if you think you might be able to help.

100 years ago, Nellie Kershaw died from asbestos. The asbestos crisis is not over. In the 60s, Turner Brothers and Cape fought regulation that could have saved lives. There is a moral obligation on them to to fund new treatments for these diseases.

100 years since Nellie Kershaw passed away from an asbestos related condition and women are still being diagnosed with asbestos diseases to this day. A very important article on how the lack of awareness around asbestos exposure in women still remains an issue.

@GOVUK⁩ response is not good enough. We have “a mature and comprehensive plan to manage asbestos risk”..like in the same way you have managed the risk of RAAC?! Change is needed to save lives. ⁦@irwinmitchell⁩ ⁦@yorkshireSARAG
