Sadly many families cannot afford baby car seats. If you have an unused baby car seat please donate it to those in need. @WheelWellZA is collecting baby car seats through @SupaQuickTyres fitment centres nationwide. Just drop yours off at your nearest Supa Quick #SupaSafety

Expert post from @CarseatFullstop I can understand the temptation to keep baby wrapped close to you at all times because of these benefits. A baby or child between an adult body and a seatbelt will be crushed to death. https://t.co/l9ws2U1jHA

#SafetySaturday with @CarseatFullstop We are buying a second hand car seat. But unlike last time and the abandoned (money) seat in the garage, I am not going in blind https://t.co/BKOtYnAO7C

The cost of car seats matters when buying in South Africa. The more expensive seats are USUALLY more expensive for good reason. I share more on this here - https://t.co/oUbDsYZmBS #CarseatFullstop Every child. Every time. No matter what.

Did you know that driving at 40 km/h is enough to kill a pedestrian? Please be vigilant on roads with a high number of pedestrians and #ShareTheRoad to ensure that we all get #SafelyHome.

Trucks have longer stopping distances. Cutting in too close in front of a truck can be dangerous. #DontTruckAround #ShareTheRoad #SafelyHome

Money just doesn’t buy brain power. This morning yet again see a mom driving an Evoque in excess of 60km/h with a <6 year old standing free on the front seat. If the airbag doesn’t blow him into pieces the dashboard and windscreen will turn him into mush. But screw parenting.

Q: When can I move my baby out of their infant seat? #AxkidAnswers When they pass the maximum weight or height on the orange sticker on the seat 🧡 Usually 13kg or 75cm, +- 12 months old. You can move to an #extendedrearfacing seat once baby sits unassisted, +- 6 months.

This is my brother’s status on FB right now which means he’s the guy trying to save the life of a child who’s parents clearly don’t care about them. WTF do people drive without strapping kids in?! Also if you’re stuck on a highway in Joburg right now this is why...

@MandyLeeMiller1 advises parents to keep their children rear-facing for as long as you can, whether to 18kg or 25kg. The further their development, the safer they’ll be when you have to turn them. @CarseatFullstop #CarSeatFullStop #ChildSafety https://t.co/FshilZBXuX
