Seconds are prints with minor imperfections that stop them from being in the main edition. However these are often so small that only I spot them & certainly not a reason to throw them away! SSF is great way to sell these at a huge discount, you get a bargain and they get a home!.

This weekend I’m taking part in #supersecondsfestival I will have a HUGE selection of prints on offer with 40% & 50% off. These are moslty seconds i.e. they have minor imperfections (that often only I can spot!). There’s also an extra 10% off full price prints via my newsletter!

I came out to find our neighbours turkey trying to recruit our chickens to his gang, I kid you not. Had to escort him home!

I recently printed the last of the edition for ‘Spirit Hunter’, number 50/50. This has been my best selling print to date and I’m a mix of happy/sad to see it nearing the end. There are 10 copies left in my store with another one or two in local shops.

Just thought I’d share my latest lino print/s as I’m super happy with the results. These are essentially the same print but the orange is a three layer ‘reduction’ print and the other a single layer enhanced with metallic watercolour for the magpie wings. I hope you like them:)

Certain prints get me really excited. I enjoy making all my prints, but this one is special I think, I don’t know why. That said I don’t think it is quite finished yet, watch this space for a extra special final touch….#linoprint #printmaking #magpie
