I've had a great week @ipmb2024 in Cairns and the highlight was meeting the brilliant @Demirer_GozdeS. I'm incredibly excited to join the Demirer lab.
First time in Australia for the International Congress on Plant Molecular Biology! . Fascinating country and a conference, plus I’ve got to finally meet the future Demirer lab postdoc @Carl_McCombe in person for the first time!!. Thank you so much @neenamitter for the invitation!

We also investigate MoNUDIX localisation, and demonstrate that MoNUDIX-like effectors are used by pathogenic Colletotrichum species. This work was a collaboration between @williams_simonj lab at @BiologyANU, Oliveira-Garcia lab @LSU, and Schaffrath lab at @RWTH 5/5.
