The Titan I trail runs from Denver to the Space Coast. One rare R&D Titan I debuted at Denver’s Civic Center in 1959, then moved east to Patrick AFB. After decades in Florida’s salt air, it vanished. That path explains why ours may be the last R&D Titan I left. @ccspacemuseum

It’s a Navaho sun dog morning on Florida’s Space Coast. DYK: sun dogs are bright spots (often rainbow-like) on either or both sides of the sun? The sunlight creates them by refracting through hexagonal ice crystals in the atmosphere. @ccspacemuseum

The Voyager 1 spacecraft celebrates 48 years in space today! After visiting Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 1 became the most distant human-made object on Feb 17, 1998. It is now more than 15.6 billion miles from the Sun, zooming through interstellar space. https://t.co/qbF8DFf1RA

A young crescent moon can be hard to see. That's because when the Moon shows its crescent phase (young or old) it can never be far from the Sun in planet Earth's sky. But even though the sky is still bright, a slender sunlit lunar crescent is clearly visible in this early evening
