🇵🇸Donate to Gaza🇵🇸 The team set up an educational tent in Mawasi, Khan Yunis, to educate children in Gaza (aged 6–12) after the collapse of the education system. The project needs your support to complete the equipment, which amounts to approximately £13k. https://t.co/lyrlMP9MLY

We did chicken inventory today to plan who is on the chopping block for the first meat harvest. I think we will do 8 total, 3 roosters and 5 hens. The young hens we have been raising will replace the older hens we keep for egg laying

Postpartum is biological, it’s a unique hormonal phase too, but it’s also social and cultural as well. The same is true for fathers, their hormones are affected, but how they fare is dependent on layers of social and gendered entanglement, not hormones alone.

Interestingly, biological anthropologist Lee Gettler found that fatherhood reduced testosterone levels in men, and more so fathers who spent time as physical caregiver of the infant. The biological and social can’t exactly be decoupled here… https://t.co/YF3x2aj6gH

In species in which males care for young, testosterone (T) is often high during mating periods but then declines to allow for caregiving of resulting offspring. This model may apply to human males,...

Unsurprisingly Epstein was up to the exact same shit. Birth control used as a sex trafficking tool. It does not solve rape culture. It is more apt to describe it as a politically versatile technology Tw: https://t.co/8XU6TeWPnE
