It’s scandalous that we keep letting this happen, for an until recently, subsidized insurance racket. Those septic tanks and bldg materials absolutely need to be remediated before these come down. It’s in all our interests, as this national shoreline doesn’t belong to the owners!

The owner of an ocean front home doesn’t have the means to handle the clean up? Why not do it before debris ended up all over the beach and in the ocean? They should be fined.

How is it owner fault? He was allowed by zoning and permitting to build there. And paid for it. It’s the county/ state fault and they know it

We need to protect this second biggest estuary from everything up stream contaminating the shore too. Big ag due west, commercial real estate/tourism on the coast. Also huge concentration of preserves and imperiled keystone species that rely on this place. No more pollution!
