3. BR Standard Class 8 No. 71000 "Duke of Gloucester" Duke of Gloucester definitely should visit due to its history. From failed engine to really useful engine, he could definitely have some good stories with the likes of Henry or BoCo. Don't know when he should visit though.

2. LMS Coronation Class No. 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" Duchess of Sutherland should visit since it's the only preserved Coronation Class running on the mainline. I think she should visit in 2005 since she hauled the Royal Train that year, and it was the RWS 60th Anniversary.

1. LNER Peppercorn A1 No. 60163 "Tornado" Tornado should definitely visit since it could astonish the NWR engines that it was built in the 21st century. I think it should visit somewhere in 2010.

If you could have a famous preserved steam locomotive visit the NWR, who would it be and why? Note: It has to be an engine that hasn't visited Sodor before. Here's a few from me.

As we all know the North Western Railway had to return all stock to the Furness and Midland Railways by 1921. Despite this, I've discovered a series of several locomotive classes withdrawn between 1914 and 1921; the time the NWR was under construction.

Is it possible the Midland and Furness Railways would let the North Western have their withdrawn stock for little-to-no price? https://t.co/4gjVAvG22s https://t.co/wNIMhBsJiI

4. LNER A1/1 No. 60113 "Great Northern" The reason is basically the same as the Raven A2's, they were only ever produced in non-motorized kits. The A1/1 is in need of a proper model.

3. LNER A2/1 Class The reason is that it's the only Thompson Pacifics that hasn't had a model is any sort of way.

2. LNER Raven A2 Class The reason is because they were only ever released in a non-motorized model railway kit by DJH Models. They're long overdue for a proper model.

For me, it's a tie of four... 1. LMS Black Five No. 44767 "George Stephenson". The reason is because it's the only Black Five with Stephenson Valve Gear.

If you were to ask for ONE model railway locomotive from any model railway manufacturer, what would it be and why?
