Today, I designated the Muslim Brotherhood and Council on American-Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations. This bans them from buying or acquiring land in Texas and authorizes the Attorney General to sue to shut them down.

Today I signed a law that outlaws compounds like EPIC City. - It prevents “no go zones“ - Prevents selling land to only Muslims - Requires disputes to be brought under Texas laws & Texas courts NOT Sharia law Transactions & business in Texas are not governed by Sharia law.

It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Jodie Laubenberg who served the citizens of House District 89 for 16 years prior to my taking that office. She loved Jesus and loved Texas. She was tiny but left BIG shoes to fill. We miss you, sweet friend.
