September is Urological Cancer Awareness Month, part of @TUF_tweets Urology Awareness campaign. Some urological cancers are highly preventable. Bladder cancer is the 11th most common cancer in the UK, about half of cases are preventable and most of these are down to smoking.

Three in five liver cancer cases globally could be prevented by reducing obesity and alcohol consumption and increasing uptake of the hepatitis vaccine. Once again, the case for a stronger approach to cancer prevention could not be clearer.
