We welcome the introduction of Jessās Rule. Our own research found that people often return to their GP several times before being diagnosed with a rare or less common cancer. We hope that the Rule will help avoid late diagnosis and improve outcomes.

2.92 million new cancer cases will be rare & less common. We welcome the six tests nominated by #OneCancerVoice. Focussed and targeted action in the new National Cancer Plan is needed to combat the projected increase to and provide a much-needed boost to survival rates.

My Rare Cancers Bill cleared the House of Commons on Friday, and had its First Reading in the Lords yesterday. In the Lords, Baroness Elliott of Whitburn Bay will lead on the bill. We are expecting (hoping!) the 2nd Reading will take place in late summer/autumn. Follow its

We are so pleased that the Rare Cancers Bill passed its 3rd Reading in the House of Commons on Friday. This Bill could mark a significant step forward in addressing the urgent need for increased focus and research in the field of rare cancers.
