Masters Monday @KewGolfClub and we took the opportunity for Members to experience the course with a range of different tees similar to proposed as per the CEP, feedback been great from members who played this morning.

After a couple of weather delays excited to finally get a start on over-seeding our 12th fairway with Fine Fescue @KewGolfClub today. Always been a problem fairway with shade issues plus flood damage made it the perfect time to see if this will produce a good year round surface

As I get older and each year passes, this becomes more and more my favourite part of the day, the hour before sunrise: course is quiet except for staff undertaking daily preparations. Gives you a great chance to reflect and not get lost in the hustle and bustle of life.

Course reopens for members @KewGolfClub today ten days after our most recent floods with a full 18 holes in play. Extraordinary effort by the staff to deal with the obstacle and work as a team to achieve a brilliant result.

All water now having left the @KewGolfClub the repairs and clean up begins. @CapillaryFlow bunkers stayed in place with only a small silt layer to remove. Areas of fescue that were under water are battling with Pythium and other issues whilst 3rd fwy has collapsed in parts.

More areas now able to be accessed @KewGolfClub with the final green getting hosed down this morning and all greens getting a cut before application of fungicide this afternoon. Attitude and mental strength of the staff been amazing esp. after going through it twice 14 months ago

Not much grass left as the river peaks, hopefully it drops as quick as it came in so clean up can commence tomorrow morning
