every YC app cycle i get dms asking how to get in or what is my advice to get into YC. i did a podcast where i covered basically what i tell everyone. "You can index on doing things to get into YC, OR you can index on just being a better founder.". good luck!

What Soham Parekh is proving is that most companies are desperately hiring and the job market is easy for someone who is decently good. for every Soham, there is someone equally as good or better who hasn’t put themselves out there enough and is 1 step away from their dream role.

someone asked for a raya referral on YC’s internal forum and i said i’d give one (don’t even use it anymore, have a gf). I now have 10+ YC founders hitting me.up for a referral lmao. If i was building b2b saas this would be the ultimate sales tactic.

i don’t trust people who seem like they know a lot about crypto and know a lot about ai (key is seem and not deeply understand). most of time i feel like it shows lack of unique perspectives and just someone who follows the herd.
