Happy New Year! Thought I'd start the year off with my model of Mid-Hants Percy! He's a Hornby Peckett with the Light Railway Stores rebuild kit and a face by @NWRKRIS! I had hoped to complete him before the end of 2025 but i didn't have time so ai made him the first in 2026!

BEHOLD SIR HANDEL* *An upgrade of the stock shell rather than Sir Handel proper from me ;) Instead I’ve upgraded the shell, some printed parts from @modrail, handrails added, and in the @TalyllynRailway’s take on SR Red as seen on Sir Haydn right now

*FINALLY* giving my models some faces but manly James’ model, and finishing of Percy. But the thing I’m most happy about is getting Tidmouth to a stage where I’m happy with how it looks, this year I’m hopefully going to focus on the coaling stage and getting some ballast down

“Are there two of you?” “No, we’re- -quadruplets!” So happy my submission from that request form Rapido put out years ago actually happened. And fittingly now are my last models I get for the year. Superb detail, especially for the size They are *TINY*. Well done Rapido! 🎉

Tidmouth MPD Circa 2006: Here we see the Bluebell’s very own mascot, Stepney, here at Tidmouth for the first time in over 40 years. He seems to be having a great time with his close friend No.6 “Percy” aswell as No.5 “James” and D3 “Bear enjoying the visitors company.

Tidmouth MPD Circa 1965: Here we see a few Tidmouth’s regulars, but most curious is new arrival D2 (at the time D5702) “BoCo”. Interestingly about this picture is it was used as a reference for the “Railway Series” illustrator’s for the next year’s book. 📷 Rev. W. Awdry
