@CommerceGov just set whopping 93.5% tariffs (bringing the total tariff rate to 160%) on #battery grade #graphite from #China, which supplies almost all of the world's graphite today. This adds $1,000 to the cost of a battery pack in an #EV. While this is a win for US graphite.
