For the love of everything, this man put Ben Johnson as a bottom 3 playcaller in the league. Yes, Ben Johnson, the #Bears Head Coach. I think this is the last time anyone should ever take this guy serious. It’s obvious bait every time he posts. Kind of sad.
📜 Play Caller Rankings The Seahawks and Rams remain two of the NFL’s best teams, thanks in large part to the coaches leading their offenses. Liam Coen stands out as the only first year head coach in the top 10.

“I feel like we are watching a burgeoning superstar play quarterback in Chicago, and people are worried about completion percentage.” - @Espngreeny #DaBears

Great thread. Give it a read.
Post All 22 thoughts: 1.) There was VERY little working in the 1st half for the entire offense. Caleb had 17 total drop backs in the 1st half, he was pressured on 8 of them. A 47.1% Pressure Rate. But even when clean Caleb was shaky, with 2 bad throws to start the game.

“I didn’t see him as being the answer in that time. I think he came open more after the ball was released from Caleb.” Ben Johnson. The comments on this of people telling me I am “coping” is hilarious.

For all of the people saying to set a precedent for the team, that makes it even worse because there was a trade deadline where we could’ve gotten capital and got his contract off the books. Just terrible all around.

Not going to be convinced otherwise by #Bears fans, but Ben Johnson’s utilization of DJ Moore is nothing short of atrocious. You would think a true offensive genius would find ways to have a perennial 1,000 yard receiver get open on routes other than screens and end arounds.

Caleb has an artificially high throwaway rate just in the effort avoid replicating the gross amount of sacks he took last season. Nothing I would worry about, yet.

Only time I’ll ever mention this, but completion % for Caleb Williams is a misnomer for how much he has throwaways to avoid sacks. Is the stat completely false? No, but similar to Caleb having 68 sacks last season and rectifying it, I believe Caleb will rectify it next season.

To think DJ Moore is open here, is a litmus test on how you watch football.

I think it can definitely be agreed on that Luther Burden was one hell of a pick. He is going to be here for a very long time. Hats off to Poles (Ben wanted him) for the draft pick there.

Ignoring the int obviously, but film reviewers will be harping on it this week.

Caleb Williams second half against Green Bay was possibly the best of his entire career, while his first half was up there for the worst. Imagine if he was able to stay consistent man…

With Rome Odunze officially ruled out this Sunday, DJ Moore’s performance against the #Packers becomes pivotal for his long term future in Chicago. A wide receiver earning 25 million should have no problem stepping up and putting on a dominant showing when needed the most.
