Heba Muraisi, Kamran Ahmed & Lewie Chiaramello stood for Palestine, risking their lives in a hunger strike of 73, 65 & 46 days to demand justice and challenge Elbit contracts. Their courage, endurance & conviction will not be forgotten.
Just heard news from pro Palestine activists that they’ve ended hunger strike in the context of the Government denying contract to Elbit. They’ve also secured meetings with prison officials about their health and conditions. I pay tribute to the dedication of the hunger strikers.

So sad to hear of Geraldine Taylor's death. She left a lasting impact on me growing up & it was an honour to work alongside her when I became politically active. A great loss to Republican activism, her legacy should inspire future generations. Rest in peace Geraldine

The ones opposing Shamima Begum return to England aren't actually worried about her being a threat, they're being vindictive also shes brown & muslim so thats a factor, its for Brits to decide obviously but imo continuous denial of allowing her home is cruel & unusual punishment

Genuine question are these bonfires not illegal anyway? what's difference between a legal & illegal bonfire? I know of other bonfires in nationalist areas just cleared, no consultation/challenges, why consultation with 11th night ones ? also how is there asbestos on the site ?

why don't they just move the substation? it's mad that a bonfire beside a hospital should have to move over something trivial like destroying an electricity substation that would supply the hospital for operations & whatnot Surely loyalist culture is more important than health?

'assisted dying' will not only become a healthcare option but a 'social necessity' we'll be told, it'll evolve that if you can't afford to retire & are a 'drain on the state' it'll be an option mandated after a certain age, won't happen overnight but it'll happen within 100 yrs
