This has really come to the fore this last couple of weeks. People can't admit they are struggling because they are berated. In my view, it is one of the drivers of the NI Executive's failure to provide a meaningful strategy. They act like poverty doesn't exist.
There's a lot of shame & stigma around #poverty & many people are suffering behind closed doors. The Anti-Poverty Strategy should provide hope to them but the draft as it stands will not help them - all those living in poverty deserve better than this @niexecutive
