A take away I have that I don’t see others bringing up is when they bring up the competition between the SRX viewership against Xfinity and trucks, their solution isn’t “what do we need to do to make those series more appealing”, it’s “how do we tear down SRX”
I know it's been said but it bears repeating and I get people have their problems with RC. If they say this about the highly respected people in the sport imagine what they say about the fans.

Call it anecdotal evidence, but my group of high school guys, the age group of fans Nascar is trying to build, and I've been trying to get them into this sport, saw what just happened tonight and they say it's the most illegitimate way to crown a champ and won't get behind it

This is exactly why Nascar has been in the dumps. One of the most dominant Xfinity seasons ever is going to be negated by a one race winner take all. And they wanna know why there is a superstar problem. You let them get overshadowed by "champions" like this

We are @iRacing Coke 600 champs! After starting 24th we quickly made our way up into the top 5 by lap 100. The entire second half we remained there and played some great 2-tire pit strategy on the last green flag pitstop to take the lead with 8 to go on fresher tires.

I have never witnessed the forces of nature have it out so much for one guy. Rain delays on what’s supposed to be a good weather day, cars wrecking on the pace laps, maybe Larson is just never destined to do the double.
