Teachers are still waiting on the Government to announce the prioritisation of ALL teachers as part of the vaccine roll out. It's just not good enough.

It’s difficult for teachers to teach remotely as well. Many teachers are also parents and are working 2 to 3 full time jobs due to the lockdown. Impacts are not only for students but also teachers, school staff and the wider school community.

It is refreshing to see an article that focuses on the impacts of COVID on teachers, their workload and their wellbeing. We are often left out of the discussion. https://t.co/syAg9HCANJ

The working life of teachers has been utterly transformed by the COVID-19 pandemic and many are at breaking point.

Federation has condemned the Department of Education’s decision to hire a consultant from KPMG without any experience in school operations or public health to design a back-to-school plan for NSW in the place of consulting with teachers. #COVID19

The COVID response from Woolworths for their employees. Yet teachers were told to find their own vaccines!

Teachers are furious they weren’t consulted about the return to class for Year 12 students. They claim the decision is premature and at odds with health advice. Read more: https://t.co/HjQC8Xwy0v

Did you know that it is too dangerous for politicians in NSW to attend parliament until September, based on "NSW Health Advice", but magically safe for students and teachers to return to schools, many of whom catch public transport across multiple locked down LGAs.
