The final Vietnam 2024 post! We just want to say how incredible the group have been and it has been a pleasure to experience this adventure with you all. You truly are amazing. We hope you have made friendships and memories which will last a lifetime. Tạm biệt 🇻🇳.

The whole group have been incredible, however, we think that Luke deserves a special shoutout as group accountant. It isn’t an easy job budgeting for the whole team but Luke you did an amazing job throughout the whole trip. Well done and thank you 👏🏻.

Couldn’t think of a better way to spend our last afternoon in Vietnam than on a beach! Can’t believe we start our long journey home tomorrow.

This morning was spent creating our own lanterns! Thank you Ella for suggesting this calming and fun activity 🏮

Today we went to Hoi An market, the biggest market in Hoi An for a bit of retail therapy. Thank you Zabe for leading the team there on your day of being the team leader. We rounded the day off with a lovely meal. We can’t believe we only have one more full day before we leave!.

What an amazing experience the group have had on the conservation initiative. We have learnt that everything has a purpose, even with very little you can be extremely happy and how we can all do our bit to help the world we live in. It was a challenge but very rewarding!

For our last day at the farm stay the group went to a local market, brought food for lunch and helped prepare and cook it. It was delicious!

Well done to Zabe, Ella, Sophie, Amelia and Quang for their fantastic effort at creating a sign for the plant nursery. The painting was based off of the sunrise we watched in the morning and you have done an amazing job.

Before we planted the tree, we wanted to see if we could grow a Sophie!

Day four of the farm - the group cleared an area of weeds so that they could plant and tree and useful plants which are used in cooking. They all got stuck in and did a fantastic job. Mr Read was in charge of the watering can!

On day three of the farm stay the group went to a different site where they made compost heaps which are used for the local crops. Miss White got stuck in with the watering!

Day two of the farm stay saw the group cut grass, transfer manure and make compost. The day ended with a football match against the local team which we sadly lost!

Miss White was very excited that she was allowed to hold a duckling 🦆

The first day of the conservation initiative involved getting to know the community we are staying in, meeting the local children and harvesting ingredients for a herbal tea.

This morning the group took a walk around the citadel before making our way to our last city, Hoi An. Millie was our group leader for the day and found a beautiful spot by the lake to have dinner. Tomorrow we head off to start our conservation initiative!
