NEW CT ANIMAL LAWS TAKE EFFECT OCTOBER 1, 2023.During the 2023 session, the Connecticut legislature passed several animal-centric bills. On Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, several of these bills go into effect. Some will protect CT’s animals - and unfortunately - some will not.
