One Year Anniversary It's important to celebrate milestones, not only to track progress but to acknowledge the hard work done. One year ago we set out on this journey, with the premise that #agtech needs a more hands-on, tactical and operational approach.

There are many root causes for hashtag#agtech adoption issues but these 3 cores ones, if we address them, would solve A LOT of headache on the backend for deals, VC and investors.

3. Market access. Do you remember when you were a kid and you sold candy to fundraise for a school event or sports uniforms (I did)? When you went knocking on doors, you knew which doors to go knock on? Agtech does not know which doors to knock or if there are doors to knock on.

2. Strategy guides the business. Strategy tends to get put on the back burner when building. 'We'll figure that out once we finish the tech.' That is backwards thinking. Start with the strategy and objectives in mind. This is not a build it and they will come endeavor.

What are those causes? To name a few: 1. Building technologies not enterprises. These technologies will become products; those products become business lines and those business lines eventually go on a balance sheet. We need to treat them as such from the beginning.

Articles like this don't go far enough to explain the lack of proliferation and adoption of agtech. These are symptoms rather than causes. Venture capital misses is a symptom not the cause of #agtech laggards. https://t.co/HwOrqbzL4C

Last week another @AHCorridor event wrapped up. Kimberly and Emily do a great job putting on an impactful event with top notch speakers, content and networking. The emerging companies are of particular interest because it's a showcase of animal health technologies

There is so much potential for ag inputs and products to be utilized in high value non-ag markets and novel ways. Skin made from soy is one of many examples of novel technologies that we have experience in scale and go-to-market. https://t.co/GumFa4ySZO

U.S. corn and soybeans have been feeding and fueling the world for decades, but their impact doesn’t stop at the table or tank.

That is what @NeuEsse has developed. We have worked with @JPConnell1 and the NeuEsse team for several years and we could not be prouder of their work and progress. Great to see the recognition of their work by @SuccessfulFarm.

Who We Work With - Soy Skin that Heals When we see progress from one of our earliest #agtech startups and clients, we are reminded of why we do what we do. Imagine skin made from soy that heals full thickness wounds and burns with minimal scarring.
