A Woman on the Outside is a moving and inspiring portrait of a young woman prevailing in spite of a system designed to break her down.

The documentary "A Woman on the Outside" follows Philadelphia native Kristal Bush, who works to keep people connected to their loved ones in prison even as she contends with the impact of incarceration on her own family.
