Not to be outdone by their Mini Nat counterparts, our Junior Naturalists had an amazing morning on the Credit River learning about the spawning migration of the Chinook Salmon. Several brave souls in Cohort #1 even touched some of the fish organs during their anatomy lesson 🍣

What brave adventurers our Mini Naturalists were this weekend! We learned about the spawning journey of the Chinook Salmon in the Credit River. We saw them swim, caught some invertebrates to learn what the baby salmon eat and even had an anatomy lesson. 🍣

What a beautiful day for butterflies! Cohort #2 had a fantastic day running through the fields with their nets. We caught 8 different species and tagged two Monarchs as well. We were also knee deep in praying mantis insects.

Cities cover 2% of Earth’s land but use 78% of energy and cause 60%+ of emissions. Waste is rising faster than population. Going circular could cut CO₂ by 44% and save $2.7T a year – making cities resilient and climate-ready.
