Instead of restricting one of the few options for flexibility that fans have when plans shift, lawmakers should enforce anti-bot laws, increase transparency, and protect fansâ right to control what they do with their tickets.

AB 1349 is moving to the CA Senate, but it still ignores the real issue in ticketing: monopoly control. One company dominating nearly every stage of the live event experience means artificial scarcity and fewer choices for fans.
