Our Poverty Reduction Plan is helping enhance the overall well-being of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. Since 2023 there has been significant progress and with the recently announced improvements we continue to invest in the key areas. #GovNL

With the updates announced yesterday, we continue to focus on key areas of the Poverty Reduction Plan:.➡️Reducing childhood poverty.➡️Encouraging meaningful employment.➡️Improving the income support program

Minister Korab provided an update today on the Poverty Reduction Plan as well as announcing enhancements to the Income Support Program. It was wonderful to have Danielle Seward of @singleparentNL and Jim Crockwell of @Macmorrancc be a part of this event as well. #GovNL
