Yes. But when I ask parents in context that rarely is understood. I think we have some work to do in all aspects of improvement. Thanks for the dialogue.

I do wonder if the bullying question is because we don’t define it well. We can see unkindness and isolated incidents where a student uses verbal aggression to try to solve a problem but there isn’t a pattern and parents and sts call it bullying. Do they score all as bullying?

Love this and can use this with the sts in my school to explain so many important things. Nice win! @rudygobert27
Rudy Gobert, on whether outrebounding teams by such a margin might disincentivize them to go small in the future: "Everyone looks small to me."

You've probably heard about how important it is to implement PBIS "with fidelity"...but do you know what that can look like in practice? Check out this new video to learn more ⬇️ https://t.co/mF9aCHkVof

That’s the kind to marry. #FoundMineFromIdaho #IdahoBoysKnowHow2FixThings ❤️
My inlaws were out of town and asked my husband to fix the heater for the tenants at their rental property. “Do you need to go borrow our tools?” “I’m a man, mom, I have my own tools.”

If you are not growing where you are planted, then maybe it is time to move because you aren't a plant. You deserve to be where you can utilize your talents, feel valued, and supported. Otherwise you will become resentful and disengaged.

When teachers say that leaving teaching is the hardest thing they ever had to do— believe them, because it is. Why? Because when a teacher leaves, you may see it just as someone leaving a job, but we see it as leaving something we love, and letting down students and families.

Peacemakers. We need more uncommon sense. We need more of this at every level of government. #utpol @GovCox @SpencerJCox

Once a decision is made as a body, it is about manners and civility. Please be a model for our youth and children of both as leaders. #TakeTheHighRoad

Thank you. This winter was the hardest I’ve ever seen in my almost 30 years in education. We are exhausted and crawling to the finish line. @UTBoardofEd

The border is ill-equipped to treat people humanely. We’ve known this for many years and through several administrations. The #Ukraine crisis has only brought it into high relief, writes @JayEvensen.

Inhumane treatment, long a hallmark of the treatment of immigrants from the south, is traumatizing refugees already scarred by war, who are coming because President Biden said they are welcome.

I’m a @utahjazz fan. I don’t try to be a critic or an analyst. I watch BBall to enjoy the sport and the game. Thank you for the effort during a very difficult year to be an educator. It’s been a fun distraction.
