We are saddened by the loss of our cherished colleague & friend. Mary made huge contributions to cannabinoid pharmacology & to CSAR & Temple. She was passionate about supporting women in science. A program has been established in her name to continue her passion. @templemedschool.
Mary Ellen Abood Ph.D., a brilliant scientist and beloved mother, wife and grandmother, tragically passed away in her sleep on February 18. Her family is making plans for a memorial and has established a fund for young female scientists in her honor.
