When we do this, we not only create a wonderful relationship with the younger parts of us but also with our partner. When we ask our partner to meet a need, want or desire… It doesn’t mean that they always need to but if they do choose to do that because they have capacity

Our partners cannot read our minds and that is okay. It’s our responsibility to identify what it is that we really want, desire and need and listen to our younger parts and advocate for them.
