Half my family came here pre-revolutionary war in 1637, the other half were among the first Filipinos to come to Hawaii to work the pineapple fields in 1906. Both my grandfathers fought in WW2, I love this country and I will see it returned to its Christian beginnings.

I’m heritage American — mostly English blood. My Choctaw lineage is small, but it’s real. Through Hawaii’s melting pot, I’m also half Filipino. And yet — like the former slaves— I’ve received full benefits from the Choctaw Nation, including help with my college education.
