When we started the first peds foot course, I questioned if we will have enough people interested. Now, with over 4 months left to the 3rd edition of our course, over half of the spots have been sold. It’s great to see the increased interest in pediatric foot and ankle.

True skin threatening is rare in pediatric clavicle fractures. Would you consider this as an indication for surgical fixation (displaced segmental fractures)? I hardly ever fix clavicle fractures but I think this one meets the criteria.

SCFE can occur in non obese patients. Our recent study shows this group of patients have different risk profiles with higher risk of hypothyroidism. Our findings suggest checking thyroid function in normal weight patients with SCFE
