Strengthening Academic and Research Ties with China 🇵🇰🤝🇨🇳 @PIDEpk and Xinjiang University held a Symposium and MoU Signing Ceremony in Urumqi to deepen collaboration in economic research, faculty exchange, and joint training programs under the spirit of #CPEC 2.0 and the BRI.

پروفیسر احسن اقبال نے کہا کہ:14ویں جے سی سی اجلاس پاکستان اور چین کے تعلقات میں نئے سفر کی بنیاد ثابت ہوا ہے۔ فیز ٹو میں زراعت، صنعت، آئی ٹی اور عوامی روابط شامل ہیں، جو پاکستان کی برآمدات، روزگار اور ٹیکنالوجی منتقلی میں انقلاب برپا کریں گے۔

وفاقی وزیر نے ہدایت کی کہ 🔹 خصوصی اقتصادی زونز کی سہولتوں کی فراہمی میں رفتار تیز کی جائے 🔹 وزارتیں سی پیک فیز ٹو کے تحت نئے منصوبے تیار کریں 🔹 ان منصوبوں کو ترجیح دی جائے جو عوامی زندگی پر دیرپا اور مثبت اثر ڈالیں

وفاقی وزیر منصوبہ بندی پروفیسر احسن اقبال کی زیرِ صدارت 14ویں جے سی سی اجلاس کے بعد پہلا سی پیک جائزہ اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس میں سی پیک فیز ٹو کے منصوبوں پر تیز رفتار عملدرآمد کے لیے اہم فیصلے کیے گئے۔

The project, launched with Chinese cooperation, is ensuring a sustainable water supply in the region. This initiative reflects the tangible benefits of CPEC on the lives of people and demonstrates how infrastructure projects are directly addressing citizens’ basic needs.

It was also shared in the meeting that under CPEC Phase-I, the commencement of the Desalination Plant in Gwadar has greatly improved access to clean water for local communities. #CPECMakingProgress

The Minister urged 📍acceleration of facilitation for SEZs 📍directed ministries for the preparation of impactful, scalable projects under CPEC Phase II that deliver long-term public benefit.

Minister noted that Phase-II opens a new chapter in Pakistan–China cooperation, focusing on agriculture, industry, IT, and people-to-people connectivity.

The Minister further emphasized that the Pakistan–China friendship, rooted in trust and shared dreams, grows stronger with each passing day. Under #CPEC Phase 2 and the Belt and Road Initiative, both nations are reaffirming their resolve for a shared and prosperous future.

The Minister stated that this day symbolizes China’s unity, resilience, and remarkable journey of progress that has made it a beacon of stability and development in the world. Pakistan takes pride in being China’s iron brother and all-weather strategic partner.
