We are broadcasting a live press conference at 6:00 p.m. to explain the initial details of an incident that occurred on Sanders Road in the City of Buffalo earlier today.

CPD Officers are involved in an incident where a weapon was discharged on Sanders Rd in Buffalo. We are working with the Buffalo Police Department and the NYS AG’s Office to start a thorough investigation into the matter. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Traffic is clear in the Genesee area.

Traffic will be slow on Aero/Holtz/Genesee WB to Cayuga for about an hour due to a memorial walk. Find an alternate route if possible.

Aero Drive will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, July 26th, between Rein Road and Holtz Drive from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM while the Erie County Water Authority repairs pipes. The road will be closed to all traffic during this timeframe.

Shortly before 10:30AM officers responded to a home in the Village of Sloan for reports of gunfire. The early investigation strongly suggests there is no threat to the public at large. More information will be provided as it becomes available in the coming days.

The Kensington Expressway has been reopened.

The Kensington Expressway eastbound is closed from Prine Ridge to the the I90 eastbound, and the Kensington Expressway westbound is closed from Union Rd to the I90 Westbound for a motor vehicle accident. Please avoid the area.

Crews working on the damage estimate that the repair will take several days. We expect to have the road closure in place through the weekend.

Union Road at George Urban Blvd is closed for a major water main break that has caused significant damage to the roadway. Traffic delays in the surrounding area can be expected as repairs get underway. We are asking vehicular traffic to avoid the area.

Due to a water main break, French Road is down to a single lane near Collette Avenue. The repair will continue late into this evening.

We have been informed that NYSEG will be using a helicopter to inspect power lines in a large area between Cheektowaga and Lockport, between June 2 and June 17.

Harlem rd is closed from Cayuga Creek to Mineral Springs Rd and Clinton st is closed from Rossler to Old French for an accident investigation please avoid the area.

The Kensington Exp. Eastbound is closed eastbound at Eggert to Pine Ridge for an active investigation, please avoid to area until further notice.

There is expected to be a routine controlled blast at the quarry on Como Park today at 1100 hours. We just wanted to make those that live in the area aware of this in case you hear something.
