District attorneys in Colorado argue this detention bed cap is too low, forcing the release of some juveniles charged with violent crimes.

Colorado has a cap of 215 juvenile detention beds allowed across the state. All 23 district attorneys are pushing for legislation to change that.

Several Colorado District Attorneys are in Washington this week for the @ndaajustice conference. They got a chance to meet with members of Colorado's Congressional delegation as well as recruit potential new prosecutors coming out of law schools.
