This is why the Callum Wilson signing from Sullivan was heavily criticised. Fullkrug out for 2-4 weeks. So the only current fit senior striker we have is someone who has missed 59 games through injury in the last two seasons. This was always a disaster waiting to happen.
Hopefully Niclas Fullkrug calf strain is only grade one at worse and his recovery time is between 2-4 weeks. A grade 1 calf strain, which involves small micro-tears in the muscle fibers, typically has a recovery time of 2 to 4 weeks. Full recovery involves rest, pain management

Potter has killed all his momentum after two positive loan spells and good pre-season. Started the final 3 pre-season games and the Lille game looked like the starting 11 for Sunderland, yet he was dropped for Guido and now Irving/Guido are getting mins ahead of him. Baffling.
Can’t help but feel for Freddie Potts. After a successful loan spell and some impressive pre-season performances, it seemed this season would be his real breakthrough. Keep on working, Freddie 👊

Josh Brownhill is still a free agent. My guess is that Guido Rodriguez will still leave to a club where their transfer window is still open (Turkey, Greece, Saudi) and then Sullivan will sign Brownhill.

I actually thought that David Sullivan had a deadline day masterclass up his sleeve ready for today. The dwarf has just undone the feel good feeling from yesterday a bit with the lack of activity. Charlie Cresswell and an attacker on loan would’ve had everyone buzzing.

One win yesterday and now Sullivan thinks everything is fine ffs.
West Ham are working hard in the final hours on bringing in a centre back on loan following the departure of Nayef Aguerd to Marseille but that is likely to conclude their transfer business this summer.
