This article was digitized by the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection and was printed in The Rocky Mountain Collegian - September 22, 1977. Gart Brothers had a store in Fort Collins, which was its first location outside the Denver area, opening in 1976.

The Colorado Snowsports Museum is thrilled to add new footage to its archive -- a digitized 8mm home movie. This footage shows Jill, Jean, and Glenn Dudley with Mary Macey Mabey skiing at Winter Park in February of 1968.

CO is celebrating its 149th birthday today. The state is also officially kicking off its 150th anniversary year, which will be celebrated throughout 2026. In conjunction, the CSM looks forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary! Stay tuned for more exciting news.
