Rear Adm. Melvin Smith met with Iceland’s Ambassador Svanhildur Valsdóttir in Norfolk to discuss defense coordination in the North Atlantic. Valsdóttir also toured USS Oregon (SSN 793) to learn more about submarine operations in the region.
