I archive CN/AS schedules into nice little charts and share CN, AS, Max, and etc news. I don't work at CN. Ran by

Teen Titans Go's most recent episode, featuring Zack Snyder, is currently rated 10.0/10 on IMDb, meaning it is tied with Breaking Bad's "Ozymandias" as the greatest TV episode of all time.

They've also removed every Infinity Train or Mao Mao video off of their YouTube.

According to a new press release from Adult Swim in relation to their upcoming festival, a Smiling Friends special is currently in the works, seemingly unrelated to the previously announced season 2.
Michael and Zach will be showing off a sneak peek at a panel for the show.
Genuinely sucks that Cartoon Network is actually trying to celebrate their 30th anniversary right (look at that schedule for 9/3! look at their recent social media posts!) but now all of that is going to be overshadowed by the crap their corporate overlords have done. Sad!
- "The way that Discovery went about this is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and just straight up slimy. Most everyone who makes anything feels this way. Across the industry, talent is mad, agents are mad, lawyers and managers are mad, even execs at these companies are mad."
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is back on Cartoon Network for the first time in 8-ish years, not counting an airing of Wrath of the Spider Queen in 2017.
Steven Universe is getting a complete series DVD release. All 5 seasons, the movie, Future. Extras include animatics, commentaries, the SU Movie sing-a-long, shorts, behind the scenes footage, and more. Releases November 3rd for $90.
Today in unrelated news: Phil Rynda, Netflix's Director of Creative Leadership and Development for Original Animation, has been let go along with several of his staff, following massive changes at Netflix Animation's Kids & Family division.
Cartoon Network's webpages for Elliott from Earth, Mighty Magiswords, Mao Mao, and OK KO have been blanked out. No videos or anything left.
Uncle Grandpa and Victor and Valentino still have their pages up.
Happy 20th anniversary to Adult Swim, the edgy Cartoon Network block that went from small, at only 6 hours a week, to this animation powerhouse that airs 9-10 hours a day here in America and gave us classics like ATHF, Space Ghost, Boondocks, Rick and Morty, and so much more.
Steven Universe was the oldest currently running Cartoon Network Studios production (unless you count Adventure Time due to it being revived). Now that title goes to We Bare Bears.
- These removals weren't supposed to happen until next week so that CN / HBO Max could tell crew what was going on
- CN also warned the higher ups not to do this as it would hurt relationships with talent, "but they clearly do not care what any of this looks like publicly"
Now available on HBO Max: a 27 minute montage celebrating 30 years of Cartoon Network.
Note that poster art. Looks great. Includes a lot of the shows removed from HBO Max.
I feel bad for Victor. His first show, ThunderCats Roar, seems to have been written off. Aquaman: King of Atlantis was removed from HBO Max (but is still on DVD). And now his first original project, one that could have let his unique visual direction really shine, got cancelled.
- Cuts were a direct order from Discovery
- Likely to cut off animator/artist royalties (which go directly to the unions to pay for healthcare)
- Also cuts off actor/music royalties. Owen made $388.45 in the first quarter of the year off of voicing One-One. So... not much.
More about Adventure Time: Distant Lands. There will be four hour long episodes, with two set to premiere in 2020.

HBO Max has ordered a 10 episode Adventure Time spin-off focused on Fionna and Cake, the series will be produced by CN Studios with Adam Muto returning as showrunner.
The final Distant Lands special, Wizard City, is still set to premiere on the service this fall.

Tonight ends perhaps one of the most notable syndication deals of all time, Family Guy on Adult Swim.
The show was given to Adult Swim basically for free by Fox. Turned out to be REALLY beneficial for both of them. Adult Swim had a ratings success and Fox had a cult classic.
Emma Fernando will be a series producer on The Amazing World of Gumball Season 7, jobs will be available at Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe from next year.
Um, there's a live action Powerpuff Girls series in the works at The CW. In this new version, they're 20-somethings "who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting".

@cartoonnetwork
Looks like similar things are happening to OK K.O. as well.
Infinity Train's soundtrack also seems to be in the process of getting removed online, too.
New Victor and Valentino every Monday - Thursday at 7:30p throughout the entire month of October. Highlights include 2 episodes on Monday, October 5th (instead of the usual one a day), and a Villainous crossover on Monday the 19th.
Warner Archive is re-releasing The Powerpuff Girls: The Complete Series on DVD-R May 21, 2024.
Hopefully it's the exact same set as what was released in 2009, with the whole slew of extras that came with it.
A pic of Elliott from Earth, the new series from the studio behind Gumball. 20 11 minute episodes at first. Looks like it's coming to CN EMEA in early 2021? No word on an American release just yet.
It's been a confusing few months regarding what's happening to some shows, but here's my guess:
The shows removed from HBO Max and/or from purchase in July seem to have been completely written off, never to be seen again.
Ohio's attorney general is suing Warner Bros. Discovery, claiming that WBD deliberately misled investors during the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, fueling $25.5m in losses for the Ohio Public Employees and State Teachers retirement systems.
The Venture Bros.: The Complete Series is coming to DVD and digital June 20. Includes all seven seasons and all of the previously existing extras. MSRP is $135, though I doubt you'll ever see it priced THAT high at stores.
