Particularly significant for Wales, judicial review is key form of redress for breach of devolved Welsh admin law by devolved Welsh public bodies should @SeneddWales do things differently inc more use of devolved tribunals
So it looks like a big constitutional day. Finally some news on a (the?) Commission on the constitution promised by the government - focussing on judicial power. And a peerage list rumoured for publication later. https://t.co/2hppIj66Os

A very significant judgment today by the High Court on school reorganisation and Welsh-medium education. It also confirms that Welsh law should be interpreted bilingually and that English and Welsh versions have equal status. R (Driver) v Rhondda Cynon Taf https://t.co/xD3XA4pa4G

Littlejohn, Daily Mail, wants to know why judges put interests of terror suspects ahead of our safety. They don't. The rule of law is an essential part of the safety of ALL citizens, even those suspected, accused or even convicted of terrorist offences

Our President, Emma Palmer @WMonckton at the meeting of the joint law societies today. Such a great opportunity to hear from other local law societies on how they and their members are coping in lockdown.

David a sincere thank you for all that you have done for @TheLawSociety over the years. Your personal effort in furthering legal education in Wales and beyond has been simply amazing - diolch yn fawr iawn @CardiffLawSoc @LegalNewsHQ @CardiffLaw @MarkLawSoc1
Just finished my final @TheLawSociety education & training committee meeting after 12 years of membership. My first meeting at @TheLawSociety was in 1982 so although this final meeting was through Microsoft Teams & not at Chancery Lane, it is a sad day for me: the end of an era.
