On this day in 1982, Team 4 claimed the first ever Mid-American Conference Tournament title, going 5-1. The Chippewas defeated WMU in Kalamazoo, winning back-to-back games!. Chippewa ace, Linda Pagett threw all 14 innings in the two victories. #FireUpChips🔥⬆️🥎
