I have been in a super reading funk lately & landed on the audiobook, The Storyteller by Dave Grohl. Y’all it what my soul needed. I knew I’d enjoy it because I love music & I’m a punk rock girl at heart. I didn’t expect all the feels it would bring to my mom/teacher heart!💕😭

Reading my cards my students gave me on the last day… One of my students thanked me for teaching her how to think logically and my math teacher heart is exploding 😭💕😭 Also she told me how cute my baby is so bonus points to her 🤣💕🤣 #WomenInSTEM #teachertwitter #HISD

On today’s episode of things I never thought I’d hear or say in class: “Miss look I’m a beaver”- Student was in fact dressed like a beaver 🤷🏻♀️ “Please get your toes out of the camera” - Student was proudly wiggling their toes for all to see right into the camera 😂
