Day 25, 3D geometry and factoring, was a retelling of a beautiful problem from the 2003 Math Kangaroo contest, grade 7-8. (It was another tough one, but you can try factors and find the answer with ease, or draw a picture!).

There’s loads of connections between maths and bellringing 🤓. Instead of tunes, ringers memorise sequences of changes - permutations where each bell can only swap with the one immediately before or after. In the video above, 11 bells move with the 12th always ringing last.
