Let's talk about road safety. Too many people are being hit and killed on our roads. Enough is enough. We need safer roads now.

As a proud dad to two rescued beagles, I know the joy and love dogs bring into our lives. Visit a local shelter and consider adopting a furry friend in need of a home. #AnimalShelterAppreciationWeek

As SNAP benefits run out due to the cutoff of federal funding, Montgomery County is stepping up to take care of our residents. Free food distributions are happening everyday across the county. Here is a brief food distribution schedule for November 1-7.

When a resident reported a storm-damaged pond behind Glenmont Shopping Center, my office acted fast. With help from the Department of Environmental Protection, crews quickly repaired the sinkhole and cleaned up the debris. The pond is now restored.

Today I introduced the HERO Act. When Master Firefighter Christopher Higgins was killed in the line of duty, his wife Lisa should not have had to wait months to receive his benefits. When firefighters risk their lives for us, we must protect them and their families in return.
