To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the Edmonton Chinatown Multicultural Centre organised the largest Chinese Lunar New Year event at West Edmonton Mall, on February 3rd and 4th. It provided a unique chance for the people o socialize, explore Chinese culture, and shop.

On Saturday, February 3, 2023, the Jamaica Association of Northern Alberta (JANA) organized a Black History Month Breakfast at the Glengarry Community League. The event was graced by distinguished guests including MLA Rhiannon Hoyle as the guest speaker, and Mayor Amarjeet Sohi.
