Ethiopia is the only African country that has never been colonized & stands a symbol for all African people in their struggle for freedom, dignity and respect. The Ethiopian & African American community’s partnership in the fight for social justice & civil rights began in 1808.

This senseless act of violence against 15 month old Carmelo Duncan has no place in the District of Columbia. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. If you have any information call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411 to help MPD bring those accountable to justice.
