Finally, after the coffee break, we ended the Workshop with presentations by Ester Vázquez explaining hybrid hydrogels, and Rafael Gavara whose presentation explained antimicrobial packaging systems. Thanks again to the speakers for their presentations and to the attendees.

The second day began with Francisco Pena Pereira's presentation on low cost platforms. We continued with Miguel Moreno and Victor M. Gonzalez talking about aptamers, and ended the group with Elena Aznar whose presentation was about gated materials.
