ok I SHOULD be happy. It's finished (yay!) and off to beta readers (yayyyy!!!!!) and even at 110k it's fine within genre expectations. obviously though I'm letting the one thing that didn't go right irk me.
so I compile the full novel and. it's 110k. That's 20k longer than I thought. This upsets me. .
